Finance has traditionally been conservative in its revenue estimates from CBI activities. This is done to hedge against unreasonable and potentially unsafe assumptions that the revenues will remain at current levels into the mid-term.
This practice appears to have changed in 2020. A statement by Citizenship Commissioner Ronald Warsal indicated that the revised budgeted income for the year was approximately VT12 billion. This estimate has been included here, for completeness.
